Shipping costs & general information: UK orders: Postage/shipping is from £2.50 for UK,. For most items we use Royal Mail first class post, which normally arrives in 2-5 working days. For large items like boxes we try and keep the postage rate down by using whichever Royal Mail delivery option is cheapest. Depending on the weight this may still be first class post, but may be Standard Parcel post which can take 3-10 days in shipping. If you require a large package to be shipped with the quickest way possible, please contact us and we will advise with the revised postage. For insurance for orders up to the value of £500 there is a charge of £4.00 in addition to the normal shipping charge (for UK orders only). Your order will require a signature upon delivery. Please e-mail for details and a revised invoice will be sent for your order. At busy times of the year orders may take up to 7 days to process so if you require something in a hurry, please e-mail and we will see what we can do to get it out quickly. Overseas orders: We do ship internationally. Postage and shipping is from £2.75 for EU and £3.00 International. For insurance for orders up to the value of £500 there is a charge of £6.00 in addition to the normal shipping charge (this is for order to Europe and the rest of the world). Your order will require a signature upon delivery. Please e-mail for details and revised invoice will be sent for your order. We ship Airmail for overseas orders. This usually takes between 5-14 working days to arrive from despatch. We can only accept payment for overseas orders through Paypal in Pounds Sterling. Just place your order and your card company will convert the transaction into your own currency. Please note that import duties and taxes where applicable are the responsibility of the purchaser. Due
to a high level of fraud and packages going missing, there are certain
countries we are unable to ship to, these include the following: Chile,
Egypt, Georgia, Ghana, Indonesia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Romania,
Serbia, Thailand, Venezuela, Yugoslavia. Items Out of Stock: In the event that an ordered item is unavailable or out of stock, you will be e-mailed and offered a refund or replacement. After 48 hours if no reply is received a refund will be issued to avoid further delays of your order. Out of stock items cannot be backordered, please reorder at a later date. Minimum Order: Due to increases in processing and admin. costs we have a minimum order of £5.00 excluding postage and packaging charges. If you wish to place a lower order than this, it can be accepted with a cheque (UK only), there will also be a low order fee of £1.00. Please e-mail for details. Payment: Payment can be made through Paypal using their secure server, by cheque/postal order (UK only) or with a credit/debit card by telephone. You do not need a Paypal account to pay through Paypal. Select Paypal as your payment method at the checkout, then follow the link for non-account holders. If you make a Paypal payments from your bank account (this is known as an e-cheque), it will delay your order as e-cheques take around 10 days to clear. It is quicker to pay from your Paypal balance or use a credit/debit card. UK customers may also pay by telephone, cheque or postal order (cheques must be drawn on a UK bank and Postal Orders bought from a UK Postal Office in Pounds Sterling). McLoughlin, If no payment is received after 5 days, orders will be cancelled and items returned to stock. To place an order by telephone, you can complete your payment, or just call us with your order and card details. Please call Monday-Friday 9am-5pm GMT on 01202-631883. Do not leave card details on the answer machine. Either call later, or leave your number and your call will be returned. Please note we do not have a physical shop to accept visitors except by prior arrangements. We operate by internet, mail order, telephone or from craft and gift shows. Returns: Cancellation: You have the right to cancel the order* at any time up to the end of 7 working days after you receive the goods. If you wish to cancel the order, you must give notice by letter or e-mail. If you cancel the order after delivery, you must return the goods to us in new and unused condition at your own expense. You must take reasonable care to ensure that the goods are not damaged in the meantime or in transit. We are unable to refund any shipping charges, unless the item is faulty or sent in error. We will issue a refund, if you cancel and return the order within 30 days of cancellation. If you do not return the goods as required, we may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the goods. You must obtain a certificate of posting for return of the goods. * Earrings, ear studs, ear fittings and piercings for the body are exempt from cancellation under the distance selling regulations as they are items that cannot be used by anyone else for hygiene reasons, and therefore cannot be returned to us if you change your mind or don't like them. Plated earscrews or clips are also available. Most earrings can also be converted at no extra charge on request. Clips or earscrews are also available to purchase separately. Vermeil is gold plating over the top of a sterling silver base - these give a gold colour, but without the cost of a completely gold fitting. Gold filled, or vermeil ear hooks will be a slight additional cost. Please e-mail for information. If you wish for a different ear fitting to the one described on the website please ask. If you require any of these alternative ear-fitting please e-mail or add your requirements in the 'your comments' box at checkout. If there is any adjustment in final price to your order you will be contacted before the order is processed. |
